I am wondering where the British forces are (outside of the Indian forces holding the line in Burma of course). Not invading Italy, not joining in the assault of Western Europe (outside of 2 infantry units landed in the Netherlands, out of supply and thus harmless), one cavalry & one garrison in Iraq/Persia. You said that he hasn't been bombing you with his Lancasters; he has to be spending his income on something. Sending every spare MPP to the Russians, despite the losses inflicted by your u-boats?

I resigned the game...the outcome is no longer in doubt. You played this very well. I was surprised at how effective the Germans were even with their lengthened supply lines and poor morale in some cases. It appears that the higher tech on the Axis side was the deciding factor.

Uh ... Went to download my next turn and saw this allied concession. Really wasn't expecting that. If fact, really wasn't expecting to win in the end. But, I'll gladly accept the concession and my first victory at WaW. [8D]

I wish to thank everyone who followed and especially General of the Army, Elessar2, and others for their invaluable advice.

I now open this AAR, which is now complete, to any and all readers (i.e., Allied Cats [:D] ) and to any and all criticism, comments, advice or just general bloviating. [:D]

I do hope to get Jim (Happycat) to read over all this and maybe provide his thoughts and insights along the way in our game.

I give it 5 STARS to WaW (not this AAR [;)]). WaW is a blast to play, challenging and at all times very interesting. I highly recommend it for any fan of WW2 games. By the way, I do know I'm preaching to the choir as I'm posting this in the WaW forum! But anyway, had to be said and I said it! [&o]
