I want some of these for Burma:

What is the "2 in bomb thrower"? Is that a politcally active tank or is that a smoke grenade discharger?

A Churchill would crush a Ronson. It's not even sporting.

I think the TC can also fire 2" HE bomblets for anti-personnel/ anti-close assult tatics weapon. Could be very effective in a Banzai attack ..

I watched the Feb. 22 combat replay. I like to do that every 3 or 4 months of game time to keep current.

The Little Yellow Baaaahstards shot down 2 or 3 C-47's over Dadjangas! Either they LRCAP'ed over Dadjangas or it was just CAP spillover from Davao. Davao has both fighters and bombers. Rooks rike we have a war on...yeeehaw!

The first lot of Sea Bees and a Bn of 129th Inf Regt. are ashore at Dajangas along with most of the parachute infantry of 503rd. No sense getting more C-47's shot up so air drops will drop. Instead, the remaining troops of 503rd will move to Sidate along with the C-47's. Sidate just went to level 2 which will put Cotabato in air drop range as well. Cotabato has a level 2 airfield and I believe is ungarrisoned. If another recon today confirms this, we can drop on Cotabato tomorrow. There is, however a paved road from Cotabato to Davao so we would need to get a substantial ground unit ashore. The best candidate is 8th Marine Rgt which is amphibious embarked aboard 17 kt AP's just NE of Manado. They were prepped for Dadjangas but it would be too dangerous to land there without air cover yet.

That would make D-Day Cotabato D-Day+2 Dadjangas. [:)]

Meanwhile, at Dadjangas, we start cutting down a bunch of papaya trees for an airstrip. It's a shame but there is much more Phillipino gold to be mined with all the GI's ashore. Someone left behind some fuel from the evacuation of of the PI so the PT boats at Dadjangas have gas. Cebu USN unit landing by LCT/LCVP tonight.

Boela just went to level 4 so 5th Air Force will try to stage a raid on Davao with B-24's just arrived today.

I had a brillaint idea for the "Maids a Milking" course for the soiree.......Breast shaped ice cream prepared in a custom mold which I volunteered to lovingly make myself based on an actual real life mold of one of the women that will be attending the party. It would have been fun for the other guests to try to guess who the model was. I further proposed to stick a Hershey's Kiss candy right at the strategic spot. Guests could chose chocolate, vanilla or toffee depending on their preferences.

Sadly, my idea was rejected in an entirely undemocratic fashion.

Just curious if you've given some thought to the "Geese-a-laying" aspect of the gifts. I've some suggestions there, if you're interested. [:)]

Here's the latest:

Lords a leaping: Champaign in "flutes"

Geese a laying: Some kind of egg thingy.

Golden Rings: Calamari

I don't know what else. All I can say is there better be a mound of calamari about 2 feet high or I am going for a steak afterwards.

This just in...White Elephant gift is some kind of sex item. [8|] I can see where this going. My guess is nobody is going to mention George Orwell or Ayn Rand..or even Karl Marx

Bump to save from page 2 purgatory.

Cap'n-I assume that no one will discuss the relative merits of oxygen or electrical torpedo drives either? What a boring party. [:(]

I am rethinking the landing at Dadjangas when we could have waited two days and landed at Cotabato which has an airfield.

Oh well, shock and awe baby, shock and awe.

We keep advancing until JJ does something about it. There are still many LYB transports at Palau. Evidently, JJ assumed we would land there.

I got in trouble for flirting at the Christ...oops sorry...Holiday Party. Thing is I didn't even know I was flirting.

I have been on this planet for a loooong time and I still can't tell. How exactly do you tell when a "blonde chick" is "being nice" vs moving in on the alpha female?

"Blonde chicks" are never 'being nice' to old codgers, Cap'n. Never. Hope this helps.
