Thanks Q-Ball. Balikpapan just turned blue recently. I had built it out to 4 Port and 5 Airfield so i thought storage would be unlimited while i emptied Palembang first. All TKs are working hard but i had built up a huge amount of oil and fuel before i really worked on it. I've only lost 1 small and 1 large Tanker and the same for AOs. I've accelerated all AOs and am building all large and medium TKs.

I sent my slow CVs and 3 BB TFs way off into the Indian Ocean and then came in at Perth. May have caught them offguard a bit. I had 2 DD ASW TFs that were supposed to go in first to clear the PT boats but they must have got into the Saki. Can't believe this battle began at 3000 yards!!!!! Will Musashi survive?

Thanks DesertWolf, Nothing ever goes as planned. I told my opponents that i can't take battles like that anymore. I'm fine organizing and planning but when it comes to a big battle i realize that i need a drink in my hand to make it through. I'll have to plan it that way.

Musashi? Very good question. Sys 34, Flt 72, Eng 17?? I put 8 DDs with her and Yamamoto as TF commander and set it on cruise. Lots of planes on search and ASW. She can only make 1 hex per turn and she has over 30 hexes to make it to any friendly base.

Thanks Joe, I think i'll have to make a return trip later as i hit the port a few times as you will see. And it's pretty far to run without a lot of AOs nearby.
