I use Microsoft Digital Image starter addition (came with computer) to trim the pictures down or patch together multiple screen shots (all taken using MWSnap freeware for screen capture) and then the rest I do in Microsoft Powerpoint. Add arrows, lines, text, etc. I publish the PowerPoint as a web page (easy step) and then upload to some storage area that Comcast gives me. Web seems to recognize and allows the slide show feature.

Great AAR as usual Gary. Yes trundling through the mountains and ravines is always going to be so slow. As you point out it is critical for the Germans to maintain a series of rolling attacks. They have to seize the intiative and keep the Allies on the hop all the time. I acknowlegde that this can be difficult without good indirect fire support. But fortunately the German armour has plenty of direct firepower.

What an AAR!  You really have a talent for this.

It is nice to see I was not just wasting a lot of shell.  I thought I had some rather nice targets jammed along the mountain roads-and I really let them have “it”.  Clearly, artillery is what saved this game for the Allies.

Your strong left hook after clearing the western mountain pass was a very good move on your part-I was helpless to stop such an attack.  My only armor was to the west of the main highway-rather foolish in hindsight.  You sacked a DV HQ shortly after this breakthrough.

My units that straddle the northern pass road were becoming useless do to lack of “basics”.  I wanted to cut the road in several more places, but it was one of those times-“the men have spoken”.

Thanks for a great game-till the next time
