Yes, definitely.
Michael Jordan plays ball. Charles Manson kills people. I torment eager potential customers by not sharing screenshots of "Brother Against Brother." Everyone has a talent.

Hello again,

my friend and me can not connect by remote game: tcp/ip direct play game. We are using NAT, and have local IPs. Do you know how we could play in remote?

Do you know which ports(all) are necessary to be opened for playing forge of freedom in remote mode ?

Thanks !

Local IP's don't work... your local IP only works to send data to your computer on your local network.  Try getting your IP from www.mywanip.com.  Hopefully that'll help.

We know our ip's (externals), but with these ip's the remote doesn't work. And we don't know if is a problem of ports or not...

I have been reading some threads about the same question, or similar in this forum and support forum.

Perhaps the problem is a file (dll of direct play) of the game and not a problem of our computers ??
We can say a "bug" of the game.

Is it possible ??

I think would be a good idea that the developers or betatesters check this problem, and say us something [:)]

Thanks again.

Pd.: the ports that eric say to me, were opened by us yesterday night.

It is, of course, possible that there is an issue with the application layer, though as far as I've seen only a few people have reported problems connecting.  We don't have problems connecting our computers, none of the beta testers have had this problem, so we are not able to check this problem -- it is nearly impossible to check a problem we can't duplicate.  However, if we can find something that is idiosyncratic to the group of hardware that are experiencing difficulty connecting, we may be able to isolate the problem this way.

By the way, it's better to post topics like this in the Support forum as we try to give priority attention to discussion threads in that area.
