Just Wondering

Battlefront features the power of battalion-level combat in some of this period's most bloody and intense conflicts: Saipan, Market Garden, Novorossisk, and Gazala. Players will have realistic control over their soldiers, with a tactical scale just large enough to make a telling difference in the strategic picture.

Hi All,

I have Korsun Pocket and I was wondering if the game engine and mechanics are fairly similiar.

No, it isn't the same game engine but the Battlefront And DBWWII shares sames mechanics for combat, movement and interface.

But it is more than a new version, it's really a new game as some important evolutions increase realism: artillery and tank/anti-tank direct fire, offensive and defensive supply (for a realistic tempo of operations), a awesome Off-Map Areas screen to correct the abstraction of the map border, a new more flexible IA (if the scenario designers are good enough to program it well).
And, even if some complaints about this number, 3 + 1 scenarios available...
It's just bullshit !

Basically the same but there have been many many improvements. Each game has had improvements over the previous game.
