Waypoints

Post by Rick Bradley »

Page 17 says that up to 3 waypoints can be set once you set a final destination. I noticed that no matter where I set the waypoints the overall distance didn't change. The reason for that is that my set waypoints are totally ignored. What is the purpose of the waypoints?

The procedure for waypoints is to set a destination (not final destination), then up to 3 more waypoints. The TG will travel first to the destination, then the waypoint(s) in the order of their placement. Your final destination will be the last waypoint.
As the initial destination is reached, the first waypoint (and each subsequent waypoint in turn) will become the new destination and that will be the distance to travel shown in the TG info box.
The purpose of waypoints is to plot a circuitous route rather than a straight one for a TG, perhaps to skirt enemy coastwatchers and airbases.

That makes sense, I never let it run long enough to see that.

Thanks

I think I'm able to set 5 way points.
