Playing a 4 AI game right now on a square 35 hexes map. I launched an attack from the very far left of my line (would be the hills on the bottom of the pic) in the hope to capture Twinning (circled). In the first turn I reached a position equally distant from Twinning and that enemy's capitol First Reddawn, about there where my tank unit with strength 106 is now. I found that Twinning was heavily defended (it still is, five turns later), but the road to First Reddawn (where my yellow HQ, 2nd Corps, is now) was wide open! [X(] There was literally nothing there that stopped me from approaching it. The city itself was only defended by some rifles, which were wiped out in no time. Now four more turns have passed, and everything this enemy has, is centered in Twinning, while my tanks storm further north, facing little resistance. There are four bigger towns up there ... is this normal behaviour? Like, when the Reds finally invade the US, the Army will leave New York to defend Albany or a village in the Catskills.
Please don't say "play the AI+, you fool!" again. [:D]
