What is the last 10 referring to in Who's Hot and Who's Not? At Bats? Games? Appearances?

What about for pitchers? I have a pitcher who is supposedly 0-2 for this 'last 10'. However, if I look at my team's last 10 games, he is actually 1-2, and much different for hislast 10 games.

I never actually looked to see the Last 10 from a pitcher's perspective, but I would have also guessed it was the last 10 games; probably why I've never seen a starter with better than 3-0.

The numbers still don't seem to make sense, even for position players. Whether you're looking at a team's last 10 games or a player's, the math isn't right for a given player.

For example, I have a player listed as hitting .200 for the last 10. In the team's last 10 games he's hitting .206, and in the last 10 games that he's actually played in he's hitting .216. So where's the .200 coming from?
