Developing Players in the 35-man Real Roster Associations

Post by KG Erwin »

The problem is definitely in the pitching. I used Crash Davis' Blue Chip add-on, and here's the one thing that is common amongst even top-rated minor-league pitchers: their K/BB ration is almost invariably 1:3. This is plainly unacceptable.

The more I experiment with this format, the more I'm thinking that a career-level association with real players and full minors is best played in draft associations.

The real-player 35-man rosters are actually best for one-off season replays. That's what they were originally designed for. My real-player alternative team history is more ambitious, with full minor-league rosters.

I suppose this could be done using the sandbox mode, which I've honestly not experimented with.
