A couple of questions:

1) Why does it create so many fictional players when I'm using real players?

2) At which point do the fictional players get assigned images from the \mods\faces\generic directory? As I'm looking at the draft prospects, it looks like most, if not all, of the fictional (and real) players don't have images assigned. I will manually assign them all if I have to, but I'd rather not have to go through that.

1. How big are your rosters? 35-man is the recommended size for real associations (though a 40- or 45-man would be sheer perfection, IMHO) and if you make your rosters too big, the game will need to generate these scrubs as filler.

2. Hmmmm. I don't know if they do. Real player photos come out of the Present Day folder. I'm thinking that for scrubs, you may have to apply them manually. Yeah, I do believe so.

In order for the generic photos to be applied to your fictional players you need to make sure that you have some in your mod/face/generic folder.  To apply all at once go to the utilities screen and select to apply the photos.  This will save you the time of having to do this player by player.

I think my roster size is 55, and it's a 16 team association.

My real-player draft leagues (50-man rosters) , even when using early draft entry, will have scrubs. As time goes on, you should see a smaller percentage of fictionals. However, I think that scrubs will always remain, just to fill out the draft pool.

A default level of 40-45 players for the historical associations would be excellent, IMHO.

Of course, an obvious way to rectify this would be to populate the draft pool with modern-era players, but cut down the association size to 16 teams. Hmm -- actually, I never considered doing this myself, but it's an interesting idea.
