just a little rant about my team

Well, I´m just sitting in our clubroom having some drinks & trying to forget about this day.
Game 2 of our 3 game home series vs Kentucky (a beatable team): Starting pitcher is our no. 5 spot. Not our best, but he has to do his duties. I also had to replace 2 of my starting fielders, to avoid, that they are going completely worn out. So I was thinking about my batting lineup & adjusting positions etc. (you know what I´m talking about). Game starts & is over after the 1st inning. We trailed 0-4. Pitcher has a pitch count of 69 after 2 innings !! We lose the game 0-7 & just managed 2 hits. Well at least no shotout.
Therefore I almost don´t sleep, eat fastfoot if possible, neglect my wife & children etc.
To be honest during that game I imagined, what could have been in my life, if I weren´t a baseball coach. I had much & many ideas.
Ok we won the series 2-1, but I´m more than a little concerned about out future.
At a lost note: I´m very uncertain: should I play with a weak pitcher & strong fielders trying to protect him (& probably lose by a narrow margin), or should I play with a weak pitcher & weaker fielders, throwing this game away, in the hope that the next game my strong pitcher combined with my best fielders will lose either to poor pitching performance or fielding errors or ....
Ok I´m done for today. Lets have another drink.
