Problem with COI III Modswap utility

Greetings,

I recently installed CC COI III. The game works fine but I have problems with the modswap utility. When I go to the CSO COI Mod web site and download the plugin file to my pluggin folder in COI I get a zip file (such as GrossDeutchlandMod.zip). I've tried to manually unzip this but am unable to get any .cc3 file so that the utility recognizes it. I know the fix is probably something simple but I'm at a loss.

If you downloded GD1 you will get

GrossdeutschlandpluginforCoI.exe

When you download a mod they arrive mostly as exe files

Run the file and the mod will be installed to your \plugins folder.

Run "ModSwap" from command center to install the mod... you also uninstall through command center.

read C:\Program Files\Close Combat\Manuals\CCModSwap Utility.pdf for detailed instructions on ModSwap.

Most mods will need a Map Pack downloaded as well...

If you downloaded GD2 you will get

Grossdeutschland2.zip

Simply unzip the Grossdeutschland.cc3 file to your \plugins folder

Then use 'ModSwap" to install

When I try to unzip the CC Cross of Iron Mod zip files I only get a .pln file (example GrossdeutschlandMod.pln) which I'm unable to extract. Any advice on what I'm doing wrong would be very appreciated.  Thanks for the help you've already given me.

You have a non- COI compatible file
