PS_SKED v1.0

Post by CrashDavis »

PS_SKED v1.00
for Puresim 2007 v1.61 and greater

PS_SKED was written for the express and sole purpose of allowing users the ability
to manipulate the post season schedule matchups when Puresim incorrectly handles
ties at the end of the regular season.

After the last game of the regular season, Puresim will generate the post season
matchup plus the schedule; it will add this matchup to end of the current schedule.

After the matchups have been generated in Puresim, you can exit Puresim and edit
the matchups by:

Start the utility and choose your association.
scroll to the bottom of the schedule to find the post season games that are scheduled.
Change the incorrect Teamid to the correct Teamid.
For each change you make in the grid, remember to tab out of the cell in order for the
change to be updated in your association's database.

Pay attention to the column headers at the top of the grid for each column in the
grid. They are not ordered how you might think they would be. HomeTeamID's come
before VistingTeamID's. I've gotten tripped up on this before myself and I've been
using this utility for over 6 months now.

Obtaining Team ID's
-------------------
My other utility called PS_TEAM can give you the TeamID for each of your teams in
your association.

It probably goes without saying, but I will mention it anyway: this utility is for
editing post season matchups only. If you decide to edit any other part of it, you
do so at your own risk. I have no idea the consequences might be if you decide to
edit any part of the regular season schedule.

Crash,

Thank you for your contributions to the Puresim community. Your addins have been a great help to me, and I know they have helped many other people. What I have always loved about your utilities is that you often create those that even YOU probably won't ever use, but that you're confident someone will need. That's both honorable and selfless. Again I thank you for being a member of this community- it's people like you that significantly increase the value of owning and playing Puresim.

Regards,
