This looks really good! Thanks for sharing.

Can you describe how you did this? I'd like to change Casablanca to a port.

Just a note: somehow the text for Cordoba, Spain got messed up in your cities.csv file. The "o" has been replaced with non-sense caharacters.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

So far your 1940 mod works great. Nice touch putting Yugoslavia as pro-axis, but now the axis can never attack it. You may need an event for a pro-allies coupe for Yugoslavia, something like the historical event in spring 1941. Or is there another way that I am missing to declare war on Yugoslavia as the axis?

But historically in the spring of 1941 Germany didn't need to attack Yugoslavia, now the Allied player could choose to spend DP on a coup d'etat in Yugoslavia to delay Barbarossa.

Hey! Welcome to Ottawa!

Buy the game. If you like old style board games then you'll probably enjoy this. It's fun and easy to pick up and play.

What other project?

As I understand the Diplomatic system you can never turn an enemy aligned nation against the alignment, Just prevent it from joining.
Favoritism is alive and well here.

A coup d'etat (or elections) do it.

Does a coup bring you into the war or just switch alignments?

From the manual:
"This Action represents an attempt by your country to change the Political Orientation of the target
country by brutally replacing its ruling government with one that has a Political Orientation closer to your country’s."

"When a coup d’etat attempt fails, it causes thefollowing effects:
• The targeted country’s Political Strength is increased by 10;
• The Political Strength of the country that failed the attempt is reduced by 5; and
• The Alliance Entry of the targeted country is increased.
When the attempt succeeds, the Political Orientation of the targeted"

Note that an event will force the German AI declare war against a pro-axis Yugoslavia so this change works better in a pbem's game.

Mmmh if its CWiE2 (Windows) then I hope they have slicked up the interface a lot since the demo they released. I was hoping for a lot of improvements from the DOS version.
