l'v heard if i hole army unit get destroyed it will not be rebuilt. So would it be a wise move to split every unit into 1/2 and place half at the frontlines and the other half in the rear? So as it can rebuild to full strength once the othe 1/2 is destroyed. any thoughts or advice on the materr will be happily taken. it october /42 in my current game agents my opponent.

Splitting doesn't work, fragmenting does ... but then you can't do that with every LCU, and the time to rebuild would be enormous anyway ...

Also there are DB issues with too many frags .

After losing the 1st and 2nd USMC due to invasion on an Atoll that went wrong against you I now load up my ships then when done pick a ship with some support squads and unload it alone and leave it behind. That way if your invasion fails and your troops die of attrition you can rebuild. Could be very costly for the Japs though.
