Auto setting fighter missions bug?

So we had a very strange occurrence in our grand campaign game, we are at feb 24, 1942. All our fighter planes in both Burma, Thailand and Java changed by themselves to 30% cap and 30% long range cap with no target hex? Anyone every seen this before? Any game reason why this would occur or is this a bug?

just an update, this actually happened to ALL fighters on the map, both Allies and Japanese, didn't realize it until I looked at a fighter squadron in San Fran and saw it's fatigue at over 60 and its mission set to 30 cap, 30 lcap.

From the lack of response donesn't seem like others have encountered this,

The same happened to PzB in one of his PBEMs too IIRC. It has something to do with setting his carrier fighters to Cap and it was valid for all squadrons on the map or something like this.

There is currently a random bug when using 'All ... on ship in hex' in 1102a and earlier releases.
IIRC, this has most impact if doing to a ship in port.

One of the future fixes:
Fixed Global change affecting "All ... on ship in hex" also changing random groups [MEM]
