Two Newbie Questions

Hi all,

Let me first say that I am loving this game. I have two questions about setting up the galaxy: (1) Is there any way to completely disable independent alien life? (2) Is there any way to have a galaxy with fewer habitable worlds (I.e., I'm trying to get a galaxy where habitable planets are rare and spread out -- I've tried setting the slider for planet quality to very low, but it seems to create galaxies with as many habitable planets, just at 60% instead of 80% quality).

Welcome to DW forum. Are you talking about Major AI or Minor races? Yes you can turn minor races off. Sorry I don't remember where in the settings you do that.

Minor races - I can turn them to "very low", but not completely off, as far as I know....

i don't think there a way to do either of the things you are asking yet. i would kind of like to get rid of independent colonies too sometimes. maybe an idea for a future patch?
