Black screen

Game runs fine during my turn (german) but during the russian turn the game seems to stop and 3 times during the first turn(russian) the screen goes black and says no-response then in about 30 secs or so the screen kicks back in during the russian ai turn. It seems to do this when the ai is thinking. So is this normal?

I have -

amd 9750 quad core processer.


8 gb ram 6 ram free

64 bit vista home edition service pac 2

ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card

I have seen a brief black screen during processing on an ATI system, but not quite for that long. Could you post a full DxDiag for us please?

The same problem happens to me. I have invidia GE force GT 240 and windows 7 home premium.

Can you, perhaps, try the v1.02 BETA (I think that Pavel made some changes in this area in BETA EXE that is available to general public)?

I am waiting for the final versione of the patch, to tell the truth. The strange is that the screen doesen't turn black if the first player is RUSSIA, and not GERMANY. Computers and games are strange (like women ...).
