Noob: Maintaining supply

Post by vsadek »

I would like to clarify the following: the symbol on attached unit icon screenshot represents „supply“ capability i.e. this unit will keep nearby units „in supply“? The supply unit doesn’t necessary have to be of HQ type?

Sorry for noob questions but I am new to Campaign Series and still learning. I will appreciate any assistance.

Hi

No.
This symbol declares the unit only to the HQ unit of a company aka hq platoon or the first "sub-unit" of any company size unit.

This unit has "command" capability if you hit "w" on your keyboard you will see the "command radius" of the unit.

Supply units are either Battailon HQ or above or supply trucks.

Allways great to be of help.
Dont hesitate to ask anything. This game is worth every bit of it.

BTW
The command radius is just a sign of coherence of the units (companywise), keeping your company within the "range of command" of the first platoon gives a boost to morale if I  remember correctly.
