The SS SdKfz 231 has the wrong vehicle graphic. It looks like a SdKfz 251 in battle.
EDIT: Just played a battle where this was not the case, will see if this problem occurs again, I forgot the screenshot earlier.

*EDIT* Question for you. That BG that you're seeing the vehicle crews appear in, can they trace a route to their supply depot? Can you remove that unit from the roster and replace it with a fully functioning crew and vehicle? I see that BG is fairly depleted so I'm thinking that crew is showing up because they couldn't be re-outfitted due to blocked supply routes. Just want to verify the exact scenario. If you could post your save game file that might make things easier than trying to explain the situation. Thanks.

I believe the route to a supply depot went by ferry (this BG attacked Arnhem bridge from Elden) but it has full supply (green bar with two crosses), also I've had a Sherman crew remain in the pool and they had supply as well. Most of the time when a vehicle is destroyed it gets taken out of the pool like it should though.

It is possible to swap out the team. This is actually recommended since this gives you back half the value of the original cost! I haven't tested if the crew shows up in the battle if you leave it in EDIT: It looks like they do appear in battle, didn't actually encounter them but they showed up in the after battle soldier screen.

I've backed up the campaign just in case so I will post the save. I'm not sure you will be able to open it since I edited some txt files so I will have to post my base folder too I guess.

As for the SdKfz 231 looking like a 251, I'm stumped. I happened early in the new campaign I started but now I can't recreate the problem. I even made a print scrn of it but I kept playing and forgot to put it in paint and save it :(.

Not really a big issue, but I'll report this anyway. You can get near unlimited formation requisition points in single player. use up all your formation req points, then hit "edit opponent". When you return the formation points are restored.

So you start with this:

Hey Mystic_Snake,

how did u get that to work? I have the 51b patch and i tried what you said (use up all formation points) and when I hit the edit opponent and come back, the points are still 0.

I tried this in operations and campaigns.

^^ hmm, you're right, most of the time this doesn't work.

im still finding that squads in buildings are being spotted by armour far too easily, and killed in short order. armour without inf support to spot for them.
once the tank starts shooting the inf in the building usually wont run away when given a run away order "your going to die" because the sqaud drops out of the order mode and sits there and dies. even when you micro management the squad it wont move.
any one else find this?

Yes, I too found that, even when the units are in Ambush.

Why cant KG 59 exit from Best?

Exit VLs to de Geelders and Son (N & S) are Axis controlled.
KG 59 is out of fuel...but that doesnt affect movement of other Axis infantry BGs (eg. KG Rink).


This issue seems like the previously identified strat movement problems involving blown bridges.

Allied Airborne BGs have unlimited supply. The Campaign.txt setting for the # of days after arrival AB BGs are automatically in supply (default=2) is not functional. Out of supply Allied AB BGs will run out of ammo (and fuel) only when this value is set to 0.
