possible bug

so I'm messing around with some on-map battalion-sized combat units just for fun, and I notice that a battalion-sized unit will move next to an enemy unit like it should..

however, if you move another unit onto the same hex as the battalion-sized unit..the previous unit goes "POOF" and dissapears..this only happens if the original battalion-sized unit is next to an enemy unit..

bug? or am I doing stuff the game wasn't designed to do..

You mean it's nowhere else on the map at all? That IS strange.
I read somewhere that humans eat more bananas than monkeys and I believe it's true because I don't remember the last time I ate a monkey.

Tthe only on map battalion sized units I am aware of are partisan units, and they usually vanish when attacked, so maybe something needs to be edited to prevent this.

The game was not designed to have on-map battalion sized units besides the partisans mentioned.

I figured as such..guess I should've asked about that before I spent all day yesterday converting EVERY German support unit to a combat unit..haha

I figured as such..guess I should've asked about that before I spent all day yesterday converting EVERY German support unit to a combat unit..haha

So...is there any chance at all to change this?
I mean...partisans have their own 'partisan' flag...just make them and construction units unplayable..

My reasons are three..
1. I really want to play this mod I've created.
2. Would like to do a Poland '39 scenario some day....but the Poles utilize lots of Battalion sized combat units.
3. We all want Armored Trains...right?

I doubt that this will get changed but I'm not one of the developers. Personally, the last thing I want in a game at this scale is hundreds or thousands of additional on-map units added. The Soviets are difficult to manage now and so I can't imagine playing a game where each Soviet Army now has an additional 20-30 on map units to manage. I wouldn't want to play a game like that.
