Terrain and LOS

Post by Mad Russian »

Many of our Beta testers had an issue with telling just what kind of terrain you're standing on. Or is between you and them. Or what kind of terrain them is standing on.

In the game you can easily determine this by simply clicking on the "5" key. This will toggle the terrain key onto the map and give you a clear indication of what the terrain features are. You can see just where the forest terrain or the wheat field terrain is.

LOS can be checked by using the LOS sighting tool. This can be gotten by simply right clicking any unit in your OOB and then selecting the LOS tool.

Quick and easy to tell what the terrain features are and if you can see from point A to point B. The sole restriction is that sighting is actual.

By that I mean you have to check sighting from an actual unit to a location and not from a ground location to another location.

Good Hunting.
