Patch 1.10 for Storm over the Pacific - work in progress
Hi,
We are going to release another patch for Storm over the Pacific with goal to solve all issues that you are dealing with.
I'm going to try to gather all the issues in this thread to be sure that we didn't skipped anything.
If you have already posted any problem with 1.05b, please post it once again here or post a link to your thread or post.
This will be really helpfull and will help us not to miss anything.

i have found a bug where if you set the setting to easy for the human, a window will pop up saying that due to the setting of hard, the player will have a 20% weakness or something to that effect.
i also have a saved game that has been frozen out...really would like to see if it could be fixed to keep playing.

when playing japan, siam is at war with me at the beginning...fine. then i pressure then to join my alliance, and they do, but they are still at war with me as well as with the allies.

looking fwd to the patch...as others have said bombardment just does not work at all...i have no problem with japanese AI though...makes for a tough opponent when u play the USA...still some CTDs occur though...also...research could be buffed up a bit...i think that when u have full research going...it could progress just a tiny bit faster...and as i said...you should bring some of the code up to date with Time of Fury...

Works on the patch are in progress.
The difference between Storm over the Pacific and Time of Fury in terms of code are huge, but we will try to implement some of the features.

I see 'time at sea' and 'distance from port' in that screenshot. Can you describe in some detail what the bounds are before a penalty is triggered, and what that penalty is?
The penalty needs to be severe.
This should also force more historical action. Example, After the Pearl Harbor attack, the Japanese fleet should feel the immediate need to return to a major port rather than like it is currently in the game, where a fleet can hang around anywhere forever.

Those values are not adjusted yet and for sure needs to be balanced.
However this is going to be included in the easy to manage and easy to mod, csv file.
