First preview of the finished 9th eastern german tank division - BTW an Elite Division - The Division attacks the border south of Lübeck and fight against 2 western german tank brigades with Leopard 1 and 2 and goes to Hamburg with Support of the Soviet divisions attacking there with one mech division and an Elite Paratroops division landing south of the river Elbe.
I will test the first scenario yet and give some screens. The mod runs in Company level and the map scale is like my big map mod for WW2 1km = 1 Hex. The map is 380 x 650 Hexes (Eastern and western Germany and parts of Austria, CSSR, Danmark, Belgia and Netherlands.

Good memories and I want to play this.

OMG! Total revamp of the old People's General memories. Is this going to be publicly available anytime soon as a mod or is this the next level of Panzer Corps?

Nice work, the models looks very nice, but the rifle from the first Bundeswehr model is not correct. This rifle is the M16A1 , used by the United states army from 1963 in south vietnam. What you need is the Heckler and Koch G3A3 , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:G3a3.gif

I think you know this [;)]

Yes - it will be ! Its a first test version.

Yes - you will see the Fulda Gap - also Bavaria and North Germany.

But its hard to fight against the full Warzaw Pact in the first days without US reinforcements. But if you hold free the big ports on the North sea - you can have all US reinforcements landing here.

Also I am planing the full Desert storm after the release of the North African addon.

First unit is ready - NVA Motschützen !
I used the flag graphic for the zoomlevel - its better - BTW you can't see the units in the zoom level, but with flags it works as a nice overview in bigger scenarios !

Here are first previews of the new Hero graphics for the modern war - I hope we can set different nations with the next PC addon !

NVA: Eng+Motorized Rifles+Tank-troops

My uncle was commander - Lieutenant colonel of a Flak regiment and I will set him also in 3d. I think 3d figure pictures are more funny like original pictures - I think also better for the WW2.

Well it's looking even better than I was anticipating. I remember screenshots from your previous mod a few years back, this one is certainly better.

As soon as I saw this I immediately wanted to make a scenario with these units based on the Ralph Peters book "Red Army" about the Soviet invasion of West Germany...  ooooh I so want to crush some capitalist forces with Staruhkin's armor and Timoshenko's surgical strikes!
