Hill 621 - coming soon

This exciting new release is a faithful adaptation of the renowned Conflict of Heroes board game that won the Origins Historical Game of the Year, Charles Roberts Wargame of the Year and the James F. Dunnigan Design Elegance Award, as well as many others!

Designed and developed in cooperation with Uwe Eickert, the original designer of Conflict of Heroes, and Western Civlization Software, the award-winning computer wargame studio, no effort has been spared to bring the outstanding Conflict of Heroes gameplay to the computer. Conflict of Heroes includes an AI opponent as well as full multiplayer support with an integrated forum and game lobby. To remain true to the core gameplay of the board game, the PC version is designed to be fun, fast and easy to play, though hard to master. The game design is also historically accurate and teaches and rewards platoon and company-level combined arms tactics without overwhelming the player with rules.

Just finished the map conversion.
Take a look.
The scenario is 1944, but I should be able to get a close approximation with a few substitutes in the OOB.
3 board map.
Massive Russian assault on the German held ridge.
Casualty pts will be ignored and only the victory hexes will determine the winner at game's end.
Now on to the testing.

The OOB is in place and testing now.
I should have it posted this weekend.
The AI still does some crazy things that I don't like.

That's kinda what is holding me up. I am not familiar enough with the AI and the scripts to get the desired offensive actions and with the tanks seeming to run straight into building hexes and getting immobilized, my 3 other city fight scenarios are giving me fits. [:D]

Just took the corn off the field yesterday, so getting a little more down time here to play around. Is anyone versed enough with how the scripts work to be able to put together a little lesson that we can all learn from?

I believe the AI unit cycles through it's options from the top down through the script it's assigned
, so just go into script editor and try using different combos.
I'm wondering if one has to include the custom scrpts in the download with custom scenarios.

One thing I noticed. On the scenario card shouldn't the date be July, 1944 not 1942?

Yes, but I changed it to reflect the early war units used in this conversion.
As the expansions roll out, more units will become available for late date scenarios.
