second impressions

Been playing the game a lot -- a good sign! I like the elegant Classical design of graphics and text font. The random cards and random events help keep things interesting. You have to play the campaign to really get the most out of the game.

In my campaign I created a Macedonian team called the Anemoi. I named one auriga "Zeno" and sold the other two and all their gear. I spent the money on improving Zeno's kit. Pretty soon Zeno got upgraded and is now faction leader and a world-famous celebrity.

Would be nice to have more "immersion" factors -- politics, personal rivalries? And maybe have access to more stats? Replays would be good, as mentioned before.

On the "Manage" screen there is a graphic showing your faction logo. A small niggle -- but this looked a bit "low-res" to me, as if it should be sharper.

I'd definitely recommend this game. Hopefully, in future, it might continue to grow and develop?

what resolution are you playing? faction logos are 256 pixels wide, so it is possible it appears a little blurred with high resolution displays.

We are planning to release some patch with minor fixes (fortunately) and some improvements like the showing upgrades thing. After that we want to try some tablet conversion. Then I will need some holidays to think what future could bring [:D]

Hi & thanks for reply. Yes, I have resolution set very high -- this can explain "low-res" effect. Is there an optimum recommended resolution?

I was thinking: this game would be great educational tool for teachers -- a cool way of getting kids interested in Ancient Rome!

Would be nice to be able to export my superstar auriga "Zeno" into game!
Or maybe create online "leaderboard"?
Or maybe develop some biography for aurigas?
Or maybe have some kind of personal relationships between aurigas that have ingame effect?
Or maybe have more history included to increase "flavour" and "immersion"?

Thanks & congratulations on great game -- I really like it!!!
