[FIXED B573] Minimum range not in database viewer?

Post by beikul »

Hi,

I'm a long time lurker who finally bit the bullet and bought the game in the steam sale. I've played the tutorials several times and I'm slowly getting to grips with the various aspects of the game. However, today I hit a problem with trying to launch a 'UGM-109B Tomahawk TASM' manually from the SSN 688 Los Angeles in the community scenario 'Mumar Cadavar 1989'.

The red text said 'Target is within minimum range' so I jumped into the database viewer to find out what the minimum range was and couldn't find it listed (it just seems to list the max range as 'Range (anti-surf) : 250 nm'). I had a look at Baloogan's wiki and found the information there (not allowed to post a URL it seems but its weapon #814) but why isn't this in the database viewer?

(I did try copying and pasting the text from the database viewer so I could search for 'min' in notepad in case my eyes are failing me but it seems that copying of text from the viewer does not work)

Thanks for the reply but the text you have posted appears to be taken from baloogan's wiki. I am asking about the database viewer available in-game (or is there some in-game view that I have missed which displays the text you have posted?)

Specifically, I am clicking on the hyperlink within the 'Unit weapons' panel to open the database viewer and I get a window with various sections with blue headings. The 'General Data' section includes the text 'Range (anti-surf) : 250 nm' but I can see no mention of a minimum range.
