Some questions regarding leaders.

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Some questions regarding leaders.

Post by tiger111 »

I know that this hardly game critical but should Keitel be in OKW rather than Jodl(chief of staff)? .
Halder (Chief of staff) was in OKH in WITE (perhaps because it was to prevent Hitler from being in game)

Also is it a good idea to dump Goring?

Thanks.

You only get 5 Admin. points a turn, and replacing one of those guys would cost you several turns worth of admin. points to do so. I would definitely take that into consideration. Those points are precious.

I agree with meklore. The APs are vital t lower levels, and I'm not sure that the effect of changing Grman leadres at the highest levels would be worth the cost.

Leaders are critical in the long run.

Think big picture.

100+ turns. One thing that gives u a small edge each turn can add up to allot of extra loses to WA's which = VP's

If your going to make a change at the top, why and how will that help long run?

Logistics.

What can I do to save from turn 1 on?

Manpower ect ect
