Turn 1: Air results

Much better then my previous tries.. The allied air jocks managed to knock out a lot of armor, including heavy tanks, and the narrow area that was targeted is very much interdicted! Losses are heavy and three P47 squadrons are stood down to rest due to heavy losses...

Settings used were max interdiction, with 3/4 on ground attack for 9th and tactical airforce, max ground attack for the mighty eight

Turn 1: Ground results

The US 1st Army punches through and manages to penetrate 40 miles, setting the armor up to exploit into the rear next turn!

when you say dig a little deeper? what do you mean?

isn't there a way to have the AI handle all or most of it for you so you can just move and fight?

as if you have to spend all your time on one of the easier settings, then the learning curve is set too high

I don't understand what Gorforlin means. I just stated that the spearhead has sufficient fuel and supplies at the beginning of turn 2... Prio was set to 4 for the entire 1st army and I'm hoping that helps the effort...

Maybe referring to freight levels at the depots, but I am speculating.

That's something to watch as well because units can draw ammo and fuel as they use it in combat from depots that have freight.

Having hi priority on the units helps, but you have to make sure there is freight in the depots for them to draw from.

It's a very fun scenario, however in my experience reaching Antwerp is very hard, as the AI is good at retreating in an orderly fashion.

Are you flying supply out to your lead units? Maybe that's what he meant[&:]
