unsafe flying condtions? or bug?

Post by brucemcl777 »

This could be deliberate to represent unsafe flying conditions - playing yanks in coral sea scenario - when I had the lexington and yorktown side by side @ 315 degrees for 3 turns - I could not land any planes on either of them - as soon as I moved them apart not to be exactly parallel I could land again.

If more than one carrier is adjacent to an aircraft you have to select one of them by clicking on the hex AFTER clicking the land ability.

If that is not the issue, then please upload a savegame!

Aah that makes sense - I'm in the habit of going right over the carrier and forgot you could be beside it as well.
Thanks Lukas

Ps. I've played almost 100 hours in 3 weeks - haven't done that in many years. Really enjoying this.
