Small suggestions

Post by Gribeauval »

I have bought the game, but not yet really played it. I have readen the manual. I want just to do suggestions, I don't know if they are valid.

1) Could you allow leaders to gain experience after a battle ? Could it not be an interesting feature ? They could improve their stats (or even become worse).

2) In the list of units of german french allies (page 93 of the manual), I see only light cavalry. Could you not allow them to deploy also heavy or medium cavalry ? Saxony had good heavy cavalry units for example.

3) Among the cavalry units, you could also introduce lancers / uhlans who were a medium cavalry.

4) In the Hannibal Rome versus Carthage game, there was an interesting mecanism that you could use in this game too : card reshuffling.
Here is the description of this rule :
"there is a small chance each turn that a player’s deck will be reshuffled. This is to prevent a player from counting cards and relying too much on the likelihood that a certain card will come up soon – or will not come up soon. This chance for a reshuffle is done
independently for each player’s deck."

Anyway, this game looks interesting.
