Crete: German Opening?

Post by MPHopcroft1 »

I'm starting a PBEM of the Crete 41 scenario as the Axis, and I'm trying to figure out a few things. Some are technical, like how the heck the paratroop jumps work, but then there is also the larger question of where I want my troops to land in the first turn. Of course I'll also have to do something about the RAF....

What have other players who have taken the Axis side and won in this scenario done in the early game?

Greetings, I've haven't gamed the scenario, but I've read about the battle. You must take the airfields, to bring in more reinfocements/supplies. The airfields and air superiority is the key.
