Changes since release

Post by michaelsbacon »

Hi,

I bought the game release day, but I got a bit bogged down in my first game with micromanagement and wandered away. I was wondering, how has the game changed since then? The patch notes look extensive, so I'm mostly interested in the big highlights.

I appreciate anyone willing to take the time to help me out, thanks!

A big upgrade is so-called "pull points". That's basically an aid that helps reduce micromanagement of the logistics net. Units and assets pull required levels of logistic points towards themselves. I find it still rather confusing, but it seems to work better with less effort - I have fewer logistical catastrophes, even though I'm still not entirely comfortable how to run the net, yet.

Aside from the big change in Logistics, there have been many informational changes. eg

Resource Tooltip has been expanded to give more&better information
Units that do not receive full supply have a note for the reason they are not getting it.
Some new reports added.
