This is rather sad, that this board has been so quiet here of late. Hope someone is making a really cool scenario

I still check by.

Hoping that all the best features of the Decisive Campaign games will be incorporated into the next iteration of Advanced Tactics.

... and that they let Lancer do the documentation!

Boo!

Gotta say, ATG ranks high on my most favourite war games of all time. Right now I'm focusing on another, tactical scale, war game instead. I'll get back to ATG eventually.

[edit]
Even though I'm relative |\|008 on ATG, I managed to stonewall AI Germany's advance in Netherlands scenario on first try. Funny event in the large forest: Germany advanced along the road and pushed back my division along it. That AI unit had pushed itself into partial encirclement, and I counterattacked from 3 directions. I didn't straighten the line but left my units to dig in where they were. On next turn came along another German unit. I attacked it from 3 directions, and there wasn't much left from that either.
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
