Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
I am unable to build a spaceport on a new planet which I colonized(same system as home planet). It is reporting I am 4 Cuprica short.
- Home plant at max storage of Cuprica.
- Mining station maxed out with Cuprica.
- New planet not storing Cuprica.
Is there a way to increase storage on home planet or how do I get Cuprica to be stored on new planet?
Is this a bug?
Thanks!

Hey, at least 'you' can GET another planet. I can't get my colony ships to so much as pick up colonists, let alone go and colonize worlds.
Re: Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
You can manual the Storage amounts. Disable the Automatic for the planet, hover over "Shortages" and then set the treshold.NAK714 wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 3:59 am I am unable to build a spaceport on a new planet which I colonized(same system as home planet). It is reporting I am 4 Cuprica short.

However please report this issue. Clearly something is not working right if the game does not set a sufficient Cuprica threshold.
Set the ship on Automatic. Asuming the Planet is still tagged as "colonize it", the game will notice the idle colonizer on automatic and prompt if it should restart the automatic process. Only if that fails, will it try to order a new one.Panpiper wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 6:53 am Hey, at least 'you' can GET another planet. It will then be back in the same process as the one that was just build for that colonisation.
Agreed on needing more options to control it.
Re: Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
My colony ships 'are'' on automatic. I just shut down DWU to boot up DW2 to check (obviously DW2 is unplayable for me right now). The colonies are flagged so as to be colonizable. I have tried unflagging them too. Whether I have them flagged or not, I will inevitably after a short while get a message along the lines of: "Kamuri Major 1 wants to join us." and at the bottom are two options; 'Cancel Colonizing' and 'Decline'. Whether I click to cancel the colonization or to decline (or just ignore it, regardless of how I choose to proceed, the colony ships remain at the homeworld, pick up no passengers, and do not colonize.zgrssd wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 7:20 amSet the ship on Automatic. Re: Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
Build colony ships manually at your planet. You can't build them in the order ships interface in the construction menu for some reason that escapes me, but you can build them directly at the planet by clicking on the planet and going to the build menu at the bottom. After they're built load up by holding right click and selecting the load colonists option, send the ship to the planet you want to colonize.Panpiper wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 2:58 pmMy colony ships 'are'' on automatic. To snowball even faster in the beginning of a game have the colony ship ready and waiting at the indy colony before you do the last gift to get 100 % colonization success chance.
Re: Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
I was able to go to manual on the new planet which was not storing any Cuprica and added a minimum. This resolved the issue. But I should have been able to source from my other planet. @zgrssd Thanks for the help!zgrssd wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 7:20 amYou can manual the Storage amounts. Re: Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
Ok, tried that. Just like all my other colony ships, the one I built manually at my planet is unable to pick up passengers.Jasebump wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 3:03 pm Build colony ships manually at your planet. That doesn't sound right. Can you maybe post your save? I wonder what's going on.

Re: Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
You have to change your game settings and lower the distance between Space Stations. I think the default is population of 1 million and range of 1 million or something like that. So if it's too close to another space station, you can't build another until you change it to a smaller distance.NAK714 wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 3:59 am I am unable to build a spaceport on a new planet which I colonized(same system as home planet). I set mine to 0 so that I can build multiple stations in the same system.

Re: Stuck Can't Build Spaceport on New Planet
Look at the RESOURCES SHORTAGES
left side bottom down, when you select a planet
IF YOU HAVE THE WORST BUG IN THE GAME
and check, if you could edit the amounts ...
this bug prevent the AI and human player to build anything related to that planet

Only known
WORKAROUND start the editor , delete the planet and rebuild it ...
the problem is, somehow after some hours playing, it is back
If you have this bug some INFOS here

Those are rules for the Automation, not for you as the player.fierceking wrote: Mon Mar 14, 2022 4:40 amYou have to change your game settings and lower the distance between Space Stations. That bug is propably a marker.FlashXAron_slith wrote: Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:01 am Look at the RESOURCES SHORTAGES

Int32.MinValue is usually -2147483648
My guess is that it is used as a placeholder/marker.
Something like "I have not yet decided on a real value. i will do so when the resources become avalible."
If you encounter it in the real world, report it as as bug.
