Post by bonney23 »

Tried this scenario in Toaw4 but it doesnt work.
Gives you an automatic victory switching to turn 2.

This scenario does not show you the designer game options prefences when loading it up.

when changing the new turn orders to off the scenario seems to be working.

Is it recommended when playing older scenarios to turn this rule off?

or should I change the options in the main menu to classic defaults?

Display of the designer's options seems to be a function of how/when the scenario was last saved in the editor. If the options are the last thing set prior to saving, the options will be displayed at start up. If additional edits are performed/saved after the options are set, the options will not be displayed at start up. Displaying may be influenced by the type of edits made, but as a general case, options will not be displayed as described. The options, however, can always be viewed via the pull down menu.

Mons 1914 is a very old scenario. I believe it dates to TOAW I. The "Designer Options" feature didn't exist till much later and this scenario's designer is long gone.
