unable to install Showcase Ford

I just purchased and downloaded Showcase Ford.

After opening the downloaded set up file (CMO-MultiDLCSetup-Latest) I get the expected welcome window. I select next but then the next window that comes up says Update Required and says "set up has detected that you do not have v1.5.1307.5..."

I have command v1.05 build 1307.4. Shouldn't it work wit this version? If not can someone direct me how to get the appropriate version?

Go to the Command matrix page and download Update v1.05.1307.5 or update it via steam

Be careful because there are some events that are not properly debugged at this moment, you can find a workaround here, although it requires some knowledge of the editor.

I downloaded CMO-UpdateComp-v1.05.1307.5 from the link. When I open the file to start the upgrade I get the same 1st welcome window. Then I get the same window that states my version is too low and the minimum I need to run the update is v1.05.1307. But that is exactly what I'm trying to upgrade. Any suggestions on how to work around this?

Mmm that's strange, I upgraded from 1307.3 to 1307.5 and had no problems. I'm afraid I can't help you any further, sorry.

You have to update it to v1.5.1307.5.

I'm sorry but we can't reproduce the issue. MY suggestion is to uninstall the game and reinstall it. After having reinstalled the game please update it and check if the issue persists.

I am still trying to work this out. I deleted command from my computer. I realize now I was likely supposed to uninstall the game rather than delete it entirely. Regardless, I subsequently re downloaded CMO-MultiSetup-v1.05.1307Part1 from Matrix and attempted to reinstall. However when I do I first get the welcome pop up and I click next. Then I get a new window with an error message "stating setup has detected that you have an incompatible version of Command: Moderns Operations installed. Please uninstall Command: modern Operations before restarting the installation set up." I then click uninstall this window nothing happens.

I've tried searching my computer and I can't find any remaining command files (except my saved scenarios, etc).

I suspect my current problems all all a result of the methods I used to reinstall Command. But any help to fix this would be much appreciated.

Try uninstalling Command from the Control panel. Restart the computer and install Command again.

Thanks- I tried that but then get this message "Invalid uninstall control file C:\program files (x86)/matrix games/command modern operations\uninstall\uninstall.xml" Is this because I deleted command from my computer prior to attempting to uninstall?

I then used the Microsoft Windows Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter and attempted to uninstall. But since I deleted command it was not on the list of programs. I selected "not listed" but then it asked for the Product code for Command.

Does anyone know the Command 38 character product code?
