RTW 3 Initial Build

Rule the Waves III is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970. and will place you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age.

RTW 3 Initial Build

How come, in the initial build, will the computer generate designs that are not legal? And when you go to rebuild them, the rebuild gets an error. I am specifically talking about BB's being designed with triple turrets in the forward and aft positions, with double turrets in the superfiring position, and torpedo protection systems of 2, where the design is flagged as not valid. If you try to rebuild them, and decrease the number of guns in the fore and aft positions, the design tells you you cannot do that either. Have attached the screenshots of the errors, but did not correctly save the game.

This has been on their list for a while. The auto-designer doesn't necessarily produce legal designs. I'm surprised that it won't let you change the designs, though.
