Air directive questions

Post by helios123 »

Hi, looking for general help in setting up air directives, specific questions:

Given air miles largely determines how many missions can be flown, how do you know when you have too little or too many missions in your air directives to make full use of your air miles?

What are the main factors in determining what days (1 to 7) to do your missions? What is the effect of doing spreading out the days you do your missions?

When you select air HQ, and see the air directives for it, does the order of those air directives as listed matter? Is there a way to see priority of each air directive easily without clicking on each?

Is it better to spread out missions over multiple days or do multiple missions in a single day?

Is it more effective to do a strike with many aircraft or do multiple strikes with fewer aircraft? How do you determine the minimum and request aircraft you use in your missions?'

Any more advice on setting up air directives and the effect of different options would be appreciated.

I'm a bit vague on this but

Have your aircraft/ squadrons on their desired airbases before your create you ADs

ADs are excuted by Priority x date/time created so bombing fighter bases has Very High Priority and bombing everything else does not.

The fewer the missions you fly the less chance of operational lossess

Tick the box Follow Path to lock in your staging base (I think)
Molotov : This we did not deserve.

Foch : This is not peace. This is a 20 year armistice.

C'est la guerre aérienne
