'Standard' game sizes

Post by jaywish87 »

What are some good matchups of force size composition compared to the sizes of maps in this game? I have made the error a few times of overestimating the size of the map to my force composition, leading to cramped battles. Curious about what people might consider 'optimal' or just plain fun force size to map size ratios.

I like creating company level defenses and delays against battalion level advances and assaults with only one or maybe two objectives on maps at least 7Km deep and 3Km wide. Lots of room for manuever.
