Very Profound...

it sort of has a "Saving Private Ryan" theme mixed in with "stand guard on the walls of freedom" ideal...to live the best life you can in order to honor those who bought us such rich opportunities with their own blood.

Less we Forget.

A timely reminder indeed! How quickly we relegate the heroes of the past to the dry pages of history books on the dusty shelves of our libraries. Whether it be the patriots in Lexington and Concord who fired 'the shot heard round the World', the doughboys who faced the horrors of WWI, the G.I.s, marines, sailors, and merchant marines who fought in WWII, the service men and women who served in Korea and Vietnam, Panama, Granada, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, or the NYC police and firemen, and World Trade Center employees who died in the dastardly attack two years ago on 9/11, we should all take a moment to give thanks for their devotion. Without their collective courage and sacrifice, we might not have the freedoms we now enjoy.
