Aircraft Research ??

Just how much can you speed up new aircraft types (30,60,90 days)?

I believe every 100 points extra you put into it brings the arrival date up 1 month.

Thats 100 PP ?

Is there any limit to the number of months that you can "buy"?

No. not 100 PP.. You have factories conducting R&D for each new type of plane. They slowly produce points (not sure how its tabulated or if you can even see it), but if you add more factories for this aircraft then you can speed up its arrival. Once the date is reached, these turn into factories producing the plane I believe.

I do not think there is a limit on how much you can buy, but its expensive to build and run all those extra factories.

No, not PP, factories doing R&D instead of producing aircraft.

Just an FYI on that R&D aspect ... there were some checks thrown in to prevent you from getting into silly catagories by dumping everything into R&D to try and get killer aircraft way early for those who may already be thinking of it [;)]

Remember, the testers are just as sneaky as you. [;)]

What kind of checks? If the players feels R&D is important, shouldn't they get the option? I would assume if everything was R&D then the allies would be sailing into Tokyo Bay around Boxing Day. [:)]

You can speed up the R&D, but not by YEARS.

Originally there were no checks ... boy those A7M's move nice [:D]

So there is a maximum amount or is it a declining return you get the more you spend? If there is a maximum amound and you reach it does it tell you so you aren't just wasting those factories?

One of Gary's little secrets. We know how it works, not how much it works [:D]
