Babylon 5 : Hold The Line Webpage

Post by DamoclesX »

Well its finally done, after 2 days of none-stop work the portal and forum are up.

Its still basic, and we are adding a lot of info as we go

this is going to be the sister site to the SSD3 site, so expect a lot of crossover between them in some areas

the site is looking for people who want to help out also, so sign up if you want to join in on the mod, the only requirment is that you own starshatter.

The line is in my sig.

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Haha, good question. [:D]

I see what Mehrunes means- AA is definitely not being factored into those screenies.
@TheDeadlyShoe> Unless, say, you could make black holes at will.
@Razeam> I can do that but I don't want to.

Cool, looked at the website.

Didn't say if you are going to include beam weapons though... (if it did and I missed it, sorry)

So...

Just an update in case you have problems, we are trying to migrate to xoop's
to many things are going wrong with phpnuke, pheag has already started using xoops over php and I"m looking into it right now, there are 2 many errrors with nuke I cant fix that are really crippling the site

i"m goign to try everything possible to somehow transfer the user database over too so people will not have to create new accounts, worst case is I"ll have to create new temp passwords for everybody and manually email them out.

I"ll post an update when its all sorted out.

So far only error I have noticed is with message board: it don't mark new messages readed. Not too annoying, but if you can fix it, go for it. Any other problems?

This is nuts

Browsers

MSIE: 89.31 % (3601)
Netscape: 9.449 % (381)
Opera: 0.843 % (34)
Konqueror: 0.049 % (2)
Lynx: 0 % (0)
Search Engines: 0.148 % (6)
Unknown: 0.198 % (8)

stats since the site went on

I figure you can drop off about 1000 from the msie, since between me, pheagm and blackwolf refreshing the page it probably added up to that
