WaW Boardgame

Post by CheopisIV »

About 8 years ago I bought the Axis and Allies boardgame, and the "Wold at War Expansion" and have never played the original A&A since. Maybe this has been answered before, but I'm wondering if this game is based on that board game, what with the similar name, similar (but more detailed) map graphics and units. Whether or not it is, I intend to pick up a copy as the sole reason I first got into computers was to play the original A&A for pc.

Nope, Totally new game. IF you like A&A it will likely feel a bit familiar, but has MUCH more depth and strategy.
