Firewall Ports for Internet Play

Post by Capt. Chris »

I want to be able to host an SPWAW game but I am behind a linux firewall. I need to know what firewall ports need to be forwarded to my Windows box inside my LAN.

I did some searching and haven't really found an solution to my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I normally let my firewall chose, but most of the time it picks 60 or 80. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Is there any way to force the game to use a certain port?

I use port 80 for my web server. If you ask me that isn't the best port choice for a game.
