Is there a mod or something that allows one to at least see a bit of what's going on in the rest of the continent? I am playing as Sweden, and the whole face of the continent is changing - example Prussia just conquered all of Poland - and it took my by surprise because I had no idea of their troop movements.


I read in another thread that in multiplayer games there is no fog of war, so there is bound to be some flag or setting that one could mod to turn it off in regular games.

A diplomat can often lift the fog to give you a look-see.

Yes, but that lone Swedish diplomat at start can't get everywhere. And to move him constantly, just to get a look at the map, makes it impossible for him to do other things at one location.

I just wish there was an option to turn fog of war off.
