RE: In-game deployment

Okay, I will have to look at this again. I had one unit in the deploy box and the number '3' in the tab. The one unit in the box I could not deploy because no deploy hex was offered on the map.

RE: In-game deployment

Thank you spillblood. I think this is what's happening. Deployment is locked despite the deploy box displaying units. In addition, the number beneath the box and what's inside the box don't match.

In-game deployment

<t> I am enjoying GaW Barbarossa so far -- this is an accessible and fun game that has a lot of potential. I really appreciate the more historical flavor as compared to PG.<br/>
One thing I am not getting though is in-game deployment. I am currently playing the Talinn scenario in the Archangelsk ...

RE: New Harpoon?

Thanks, Sunburn. Actually I meant: is this the spiritual successor to Harpoon? I liked Harpoon, but eventually I lost track and never got back into it. Command is definitely on my shortlist for new games in 2013.

New Harpoon?

Is this the new Harpoon? I have Harpoon -- at least an older version of it -- on my PC, but it is so...old school.

RE: FPG2 News!

I want patches and expansions as well. And I am willing to pay for the expansions. Most of all, I want FPG2 to come out. So, when is that again...?

RE: FPG2 News!

I, for one, will buy FPG2 as soon as it is out. FPG1 was/is a great game. So how does FPG2 differ? Just curious.

Thanks for the update, which in actuality is more of an upgrade. Excellent work, makes the game interesting again to play.

I for one would appreciate that. I still play Flashpoint Germany occasionally. This game deserves to live. Pity that we don't hear much from the developer.

RE: This looks like a swell game, Why no activity?

Decisive Campaigns is a very accessible game. WitE may be accessible as well, but I read about turns that take hours to prepare. I find that really scary. I look forward to more scenarios, campaigns, and whole new theatres from Vic.

RE: Shouldn't it be Panzer Korps?

German Panzer can refer to the following things: tank (as in battle tank) and armour (as in knight's armour, although the more appropriate word for this would be "Rüstung"). The most common connotation for Panzer is...well, Panzer/tank.

RE: This looks like a swell game, Why no activity?

Content is limited so far. Some additional scenarios are needed. The game as such is excellent.

RE: Update? and question about any eventual release

This has been asked before...don't expect any answers. Matrix doesn't seem to care enough to inform us of the current status.
Really a pity, I like Flashpoint a lot.

Undecided

<t> I've been watching this forum and reading the posts. I really want to buy this game. But I have to admit that I am daunted by the scope and the amount of micromanagement that seems to be necessary.<br/>

It's a pity such a well thought out game system does not seem to live anymore. Couldn't Matrix step in and lend a helping hand?
Or could we get a status update at least?
