Re: Error tryign to start PBEM++ scenario

Thanks for the information. Are both players on the beta 2.1.3 update? We will look into this on our end as well.

Can't speak for my opponent but I hadn't opted in to any beta patches. I just have opted in and it now works.

Good that the error message indicated a variance in versions, but ...

I believe that this has been fixed. There was a bug that snuck in where some units didn't want to cross a bridge over a river. They would snake all over the map to avoid the bridges.

Spanish Infantry are effective for you when attacking cities. It's because their attack bonus helps overcome two disadvantages: 1) you don't get command bonuses in city battles, so a large command rating (like Hannibal's) doesn't help and 2 ...

Thanks for the extra combat details.

Can you please comment on whether there is anything particularly special about Spanish Infantry when attacking cities? Was I dreaming that I saw something written somewhere about them perhaps being particularly effective vs cities?

Movement cost bug?

<t> I have Hannibal in Cisalpine Gaul and wanted to move him back to Spain. My senate decree is set to "Reinforce Spain" but I wasn't 100% sure I could get Hannibal there because I believe he has to enter Gaul first (as Genua was Roman) before he can get to Spain. This seemed like it would require ...

RE: Ship classification?

Haha...I am the first person to "have this problem"? [:'(]
So the rest of you who don't "have this problem" automatically/naturally know/knew all the ship types that are included in each category.
eg. all the ship types that belong to the AU or AP category? etc.
