Yup thats pretty much it; I recommend you keep backups of any files you replace just in case of course.

Hmm for whatever reason the units are still there...!! Still can't move on :(

Also I noticed in the log it says "max units reached" that can't be good!

Under the original rules, the power not at war would be required to declare war or displace out of the province, IIRC. I suppose this is not implemented?

We are using patch 1.03, though I do not think that that particularly is the source of our problems.
